What families need to know
Despite "universal" marketing, EFS requires recipients to enroll in a registered Category I, II, or III nonpublic school before any funds are released. Home education is not an allowable use, so this is functionally a private-school program. The state's separate ESA Pilot Program is even more restrictive (specific counties, income limits, private-school enrollment).
